Wayne Unrau is from MacGregor, Manitoba, Canada. Growing up in a musical family with his brothers and sisters, Wayne would often sing at his home church. It was singing in the choir and later in Bible College that he realized singing is his passion.
Wayne has attended the Steve Hurst School of Music and the Ben Speer’s Stamps Baxter School of Music in Nashville. He recorded his first CD at Lamp Music Studio in Whitesburg Georgia in 2004. Over the years he has sung in many venues in the U.S. and coast to coast across Canada.
Wayne has shared the stage with groups such as Legacy Five, The Beene Family, Sweet Presence, Circuit Riders, Hunter Brothers, High Valley and Paid in Full, Hope’s Call, The Collingsworth Family, The Janz Team and Stephen Hill.
Back in the studio again at Lamp Music, he recorded his second CD in 2016. This CD highlights his life’s journey and emphasizes Hope.
Wayne and his wife Valorie live in MacGregor where they raised their 3 sons who have since started families of their own. Wayne and Valorie love being grandma and grandpa!
